We are a small kennel located on 18 acres west of Grand Forks, ND. We have experience with pointing as well as flushing breeds.
Quality gun dogs has become a passion in recent years, and in hopes of passing that along through gun dog training and breeding, Cutting Edge Kennels came into existence in 2010. My first dog, Hemi, is what really started this. He was my first Brittany and his natural ability and train-ability really opened the doors. My previous gun dog experience was with Labs, but after seeing the Brittany work, I was hooked on the breed. The sight of a hard running Brittany covering a field is second to none.

In the spring of 2011 the next generation came home, Dixie, another Brittany. Dixie comes from outstanding bloodlines from across the country, including 32X NSTRA Champion Nolan's Last Bullet and National Field Champion Rebel Jac's Hammerin Dandy, bloodlines which I hope to pass along in the future.

Cutting Edge Kennels also raises and houses game birds on our property. This enables us to train and condition our and our customer's gun dogs from day one on live birds. We are also able to sell birds to the general public for training and restocking. Call us to order or reserve birds.
